There’s two ways to go through life, one is to compare yourself to others and their lives/possessions, the other is to just focus on your life, goals etc and to find joy in the things you get yourself.
Most people are the former, the path to true happiness lies with the latter.
Ever been around shallow insecure rich people, it doesn’t matter how much they have, the only way they find happiness is to know they have more than you and since there’s always someone richer than them, what they have is never enough. They are some of the most miserable angry sad humans on the planet, yet in theory these folks should be loving and enjoying their great lives but they can’t. Very sad.
