Crankshaft Pulley Install Help

I had a question that hopefully one of you bros may be able to assist with. Some time ago I had purchased the Stillen lightweight crankshaft pulley. This weekend I got around to actually installing it. I have removed the old pulley and lined up the new pulley with the key on the crankshaft by hand, then used the old pulley bolt to seat the the pulley on the shaft. The new pulley seated on the crankshaft easily. However, with the Stillen pulley seated, there is approximately 16.5mm/.5" between the end of the crank and the face of the pulley. My question is whether or not this is normal? I did not get a good look at the old pulley before removing it and the FSM does not mention anything on the matter. It appears that everything is lined up just fine. The pulley appears to be in line with all of the accessory/idler pulleys. From what I was able to gather about other cars is a gap between the end of the crankshaft and the pulley is common and normal. However, I could not find anything Nissan specific, and the gap I have seems pretty substantial. I just don't have any confirmation of whether this seemingly substantial gap is normal of not. I have attached some pictures of the pulley on the crankshaft for reference. I've also contacted Stillen directly but their response was: "Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, At this time being, we do not have any more technicians or engineers, so i rather not give any false information in regards to a crucial step such as this."
