Hello everyone! I'm the original owner of my 2009 370Z (hence my join date) and am looking to sell because I bought another daily driver (2016 Jaguar F-Type R). I bought it in 2009 and used it as a daily driver mostly to and from work. For 17 years, I drove it ~35 miles each way to and from work mostly on the highway. It now has 201,732 miles. I was concerned about rock chips, so I had PPF put on the front and mirrors when it was brand new. Thank goodness I did because it did an amazing job of keeping the paint in great shape (PPF is still on the front bumper down). It's in excellent condition, aside from minor imperfections from daily use (let's start a discussion if you want me to walk around the car and point out imperfections...happy to do so as the original owner and I know each and every one!). Mechanically, it's been what I'd expect from a Japanese car...reliable. I'm pretty anal when it comes to maintaining my cars and have clay barred and waxed it on a regular basis. It has never been modified.
I could be wrong, but I think my Z might be the lowest priced 370Z with a clean title in the entire US. I cannot find one cheaper. I'm asking $9,995 on other unnamed car sale websites, but as a car enthusiast speaking to other enthusiasts, I'd would be willing to accept $9,200 (firm). I have ALL service records and 2 FOBs. BRAND NEW Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires have been fitted (not cheap...also fitted them to the F-Type, LOTS of grip). It doesn’t have a single door ding and has never been smoked in. I can email an Excel file with EVERY maintenance visit and additional pictures if you'd like to see.
For the sake of transparency, my Z has had two minor incidents:
• While driving on the highway, a metal object fell out of a truck ahead. It struck the front passenger side bumper, denting the plastic bumper, breaking the windshield fluid reservoir behind the bumper, and cracking the front headlamp. Repairs were done professionally.
• Another car backed into the driver’s side quarter panel where it meets the front door in a parking lot. The impact was minor enough that I touched it up with factory paint.
Other than that...nada. Just a reliable car I drove like a Camry for 17 years on cruise control looking cool going down the highway. FYI...I'm 46. Yes, I drove it like a Camry.
I've gotten lots of inquiries through other sites, so I have to say this now.
Serious inquiries only. No trades. I'd prefer show/sell it in person instead of shipping.
