Hey Spoiler,
Spoke with my Dad yesterday about the Black Phantom bicycle by Schwinn & he said it was the year 50 or 51, as he was delivering telegrams for Western Union.
He made payments on the bike until it was paid for....$83 & change

I’m sure that was a pile back then

Also said it was Black & Red w/chrome fenders & leather seat.
Said he installed a speedometer on it & put over 1,000mi. on that bike.
