Today’s batteries as a power source for cars is unsustainable. There aren’t enough resources on the planet to make the amount of batteries that would be required to replace even half of the worlds ICE cars by electric ones. We won’t even get into the trucking industry and commercial aviation. Then there’s the increased demand on the existing electric power grid which would need to be expanded. Tree huggers would love that idea. So, forget batteries. But unfortunately, electric motors are probably the future. We just don’t know what the power source will be yet. Or, it might all change for ICE if a clean and renewable fuel can be concocted to replace gasoline. Who knows.

But yeah, electric cars become extremely boring, extremely fast. Goes to show that it’s not about how fast a car gets you from point A to B. It’s about the visceral sensation of feel and sound. This is the main reason that electric motorcycles are not very popular even though that makes more sense than an electric car.
