Default HVAC Climate Control

Hello to you all in the 370Z community,
I'm a recent new Z owner (2014 370Z base) and ran into an issue with my HVAC Climate Control system after the installation of a new aftermarket Alpine radio. The radio system was pretty much plug and play with the new radio coming with a prewired harness. The new sound is a big improvement over the factory radio that was replaced. After completing the install and getting all put back together, the climate control AC heater functionality just stopped? I figured I must have blow a fuse but all associated fuses per the wire diagram seem to be good (not blown checked both fuse boxes) Next, I thought that by some weird chance, I blew/shorted out the actual AC HVAC control switch/unit? Even though I still had power to it based on the interior lights still working at night when the lights were activated. So I picked up a used AC HVAC control switch/unit, thinking the original one blew during the installation of the new radio. Pulled everything apart once more to swap out the control switch/unit, plugged in the one connector, and same problem? Unit lights up with the lights activated but nothing, no fan (AC or Heat)
The final step was taking it to the local Nissan dealer to check fault codes and test fuses and their housings, and still nothing? Please HELP 370z friends! I'm thinking someone out there has had the same problem after a factory radio swap out to aftermarket upgrade...
Happy New Year! DC from Clarkston
