In my opinion that's unacceptable. Sounds like they just trying to keep you along till they are able to get the order fulfilled.
They should be able to give you a date as to when it will get shipped and sent to you. This is part of their business. If they are seriously unsure due to issues outside of their control then they shouldn't be giving you multiple ETA's and failing them. IMO, get your money back and kindly ask them to notify you when they actually have product in stock and ready to ship. Things like this easily become a few months, to all of a sudden a year. You have been patient enough.
