New update, my extended warranty wants to help, but they don’t have a good way of verifying the problem without really driving the car (even though my Nissan tech verified it and I provided pics). They said they can’t help unless I can get paperwork from Nissan stating it’s some kind of TSB or multiple people have reported and logged the issue with Nissan.
Recaro said it isn’t serviceable and the entire seatback would need to be replaced. Not what I wanted to hear on either front given the lowest I’ve found a new seatback is $3,200....

I can’t believe it really costs Nissan that much so I’d love to know if anyone here has leads on new OEM parts.
