The reason you are burning oil is more than likely due to the ring gap was set too large causing this issue. Normal for a Forced induction car. There is a fine line setting the ring gaps. Too large and oil consumption and blow bye is an issue. Too tight and sticking a ring due to the extra heat of a FI car. My first built engine burned a little bit of oil. My new one does not. This issue could have also been due to improper break in procedure. You are going to burn oil due to the reasons above. Nothing is going to stop it unless you have it built again properly.
