This system has 2 vessels. One Cation, and one Anion. Positive charge and negative charge. As water passes through the vessels. One vessel will strip the positive charge particles, the other vessel will strip the negative charge particles. The water will end up with zero minerals in it. The byproduct from this is concrete. It slowly plugs the system. The conductivity of the water coming out at first will be very low. Then the system gets to the end of life. It will be very high. The life span is determined by how clean the water coming into is.
As you can guess. I have experience on this type of system. Only on a large scale.

Lol I know how they work. The portability is pretty slick. I would only use for final rinse anyway - not for full time use. Also the refill is only like $100 from other sources.
