You should definitely double check the installation.. and if it's touching the A/C lines you should definitely make an adjustment, and definitely utilize the foam, but ultimately it doesn't need to touch anything, and shouldn't be vibrating. A/C lines are not something you want the metal tubes vibrating against, which is why the notation is made in the instructions.

Please call us ASAP and work with our customer service department to get the install dialed in. Did you do the installation yourself?
