I was wondering how one could get a 6mm peg to fit in a 5.56mm hole.
It fits the AR-15
platform, not a standard AR-15. Per Wikipedia: "a new barrel, magazine and bolt are required to convert to the 6mm ARC." Seems like a stiffer recoil spring might be needed but maybe not. Appears to be an easy conversion if one has the right tools.
Interesting concept, especially for hunters, but I like the AR-15 because of the light recoil. A .243 ain't bad but a tad more than what I prefer for the plinking that I do.
