This really seems to have done it - hopefully it doesn't recur. I waited a while to post anything, to be sure....but #1 would happen for sure, every few days or so. I may be imagining it, but to me the car felt different the moment I drove off from my 3rd dealership visit. This despite being a bit disheartened and skeptical after the first 2 failed visits. In fact, I remember feeling optimistic after 2nd visit, where it had first thrown a code, and they replaced the sensor....i remember them saying "should drive great now!".....and then....no... same issue. This third time, it just felt....stronger and more responsive.
It's been almost 3 weeks of frequent daily driving, so I'm happy. If it happens to be the same problem.....if you get the same code, I'd recommend this....
Wish I had more info to give people. The notes say: checked and confirmed fault code P0315, send info to nissan tech line. Reprogrammed ecm as per tech line and test drove." The service guy seemed confident and said their best tech had been on it and that Nissan seemed sure they knew what the issue was. I pointed out that on the last visit, they said they called Nissan and Nissan wasn't sure.... this service guy had been on vacation, and he could only assure me that this time, they were quite confident.
