Hell I am not against playing golf as I would have joined you. I love the game. I think you just lose some if the intimacy with not being held hostage and too many distractions.

As far as cost, transportation cost for vehicles will be up significantly as we generally have the car shipped to Atlanta or Nashville where we have a safe place to pick them up. The new venue adds a days drive for the transport and right now transport cost for big rig is more than double what it was pre pandemic. The other cost are nominal and just the cost to come party and hang out with you guys so that's not really an issue but $4k to bring my car is over the top.

ahhhh yea you guys shipped to ATL and hooked up with forged performance i think was the process.

wonder if there is a way just to send them to CLT airport and you all fly in to there instead. it's only 1.5 hours from the resort.

but yea i get it no dragon semi kills it for some people. if it was my first year or two i'd probably be bummed but after 7/8 years at zdayz the dragon is awesome but like i said the cop heat and over crowding kinda killed the allure for me personally.

as much as i liked being secluded, now having food options and can pack lighter with shopping options for food/booze is a nice change.

tony, nina, and myself hit a nice italian spot as expected lol i went alone and hit a seafood place and made them regret $35 all you can eat shellfish. i did damage there lol

i do see another benefit to having more entertainment options is that maybe it can lighten the load on settle and Michelle. they do so much every year i think they deserve a little less stress.
