I got the Ark DT-S since I was told by their sales department that the Grip does not fit on Nismo models. Anyways, from what I’ve heard they both are pretty similar as far as loudness is concerned. Some reviewers say the the Grip is louder and for others it’s the DT-S. All I can say, mine is moderately louder than stock at low to medium throttle up to about 4000 rpm. At WOT, it is definitely loud but without much resonance in the cabin. I have zero drone at cruising speeds in 6th gear and very little in 5th.

The components design and build quality is excellent especially with the welds. However, the fit was not perfect in my case. I had to slightly modify one of the rear exhaust hangers in order to align the tips to my bumper openings. I also had the left mid pipe hitting the rear chassis brace, but this was fixed once I loosened everything up and re-aligned the mid pipe. Everything is pretty well perfect now but it did take a little bit of fiddling around.

Was it all worth it.........oh yes! The sound my exhaust makes is very unique and really brings out that VQ engine sound that Nissan is known for. It sounds so good that even my wife noticed and loves it. She never notices things like that.

Soooo, take that for what it’s worth. Maybe the Grip has better fit. Don’t know.
