That'll work. Let it run for a few minutes after the engine warms up so that the exhaust pipes get hot enough to boil off the water.

IIRC, there is also a shipping "switch" in the fuse block that kills power to a lot of stuff to reduce battery drain. FSM will tell you how good my memory is and exactly where the switch is (if it actually exists). Link to FSM in my sig.
