I probably won’t have the car for more than 2 years and if it becomes a collectors edition, I don’t want to ruin the value of it by adding a spoiler it didn’t come with. I already have plans on changing out the exhaust, HFCs, cold air intake and adding window tint but I will be keeping all the original parts if/when I trade in. What do you guys think? Adding a spoiler or no?
1. You bought the car because YOU like it, and not to impress others, therefore, do what YOU want with it.
2. IMO, the Z looks best with a tasteful spoiler, such as OEM, vs no spoiler.
3. If you are worried about value, any aftermarket/non-OEM add-ons, both cosmetic and esp. performance, will decrease the value of the car.
4. You've got a long way to go IF the 50th edition should become a collector's item. My bet would be the 45th edition has a higher chance of becoming a collector's item than the 50th, but that's just IMO.
