I got pulled over yesterday for not having my plates installed while driving my six(ish) month-old Z. I only have temporary plates at the moment, as I ordered custom plates on the day I ordered my car but they haven't delivered yet due to COVID-related delays. Those plates have been hanging out on my passenger side floor. I've been driving six months without plates so I was playing with fire really. I guess in a sense I kind of deserved the ticket, but I didn't want to install temporary plates on there and tarnish the aura of the vehicle. Anyway, the pics and such from the first post here were helpful to get the front license plate bracket installed.

I went to the station this morning and got the ticket signed-off. Now that I got my fix-it ticket signed-off, I have already removed the front license plate frame. It's got the white toggle fasteners stuck in there, and I plan on removing them and installing inconspicuous plugs. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to remove these without damaging them. I'm hoping there's a way to disengage the toggle so that they can slide out. If there isn't a good way of doing this, I'll just drill them out, but then I would like to be able to purchase a set of new ones in case I need to reinstall the bracket later on for whatever reason. Does anyone know the number of the toggle fasteners by themselves? I have found the entire front license plate bracket assembly, but I don't want to order and store all of that just for the toggle fasteners.
