Beef up the HP with a ready developed engine, looks like the plan.
Marketing wise,call it a 4O0Z that equals 400 HP.
Aftermarket guys will be busy promising to get it to the magic 500HP level.

Nissan designs its own carbon fiber parts. So that in itself keeps costs down. The Nismo Z is expected to be a near $60,000 hybrid car. So if thats the case, Nissan will be forced to use carbon fiber parts to reduce weight.
If the alfa romeo can build a near almost all carbon fiber car for $60k? Nissan can utilize some in house carbon fiber to reduce weight. Our drive shafts and radiator housings are carbon fiber now. So im sure it could be used a little further.
