The good...
...Nissan has finally made it official that they're doing another Z.
...3.0TT
...6MT
...handbrake
...6/4 brakes appear to be at least an option
...the iconic 3-gauge cluster

The bad...
...a lot of the exterior
...massive rectangular front grille is the worst (was size determined by intake requirements?)
...side view appears OK but lines are suboptimally shown due to lemon-lime color choice
...both front and rear look too much like a Detroit muscle car and not a Z sports car despite Nissan's insistence they're trying to channel previous Z generations.
...chrome "katana" trim, WTH?
...black roof, black lower front lip, black strip between tail lights aren't doing any favors to the lines of the car, and should be offered as an optional black package at most.
...horrible presentation leaves you wondering WTF are they thinking

Undecided, or not enough info...
...ALL of the performance specs
...color choices
...a lot of the interior and tech stuff
...new CSC or the old one from their parts bin?
...diff?, steering?
...PRICE
...availability

I ordered a 350 back in 2002 and was so excited about that car that I wore out at least 10 brochures drooling at the pictures while I was waiting for my order to arrive. Then I modded it a lot just because I could. I had it for 17 years before I had to sell it (long story) and I've pined for another Z ever since. I was hoping Nissan would build something that I liked as much as my 350 and that I wouldn't HAVE to mod it because I don't want to do that again.

After last night's presentation, I'm just not feeling it.

ETA: Nissan has to know that a lot of Z owners have been anxiously waiting for a new Z for years, and that we're a big part of their potential buyer pool. I hope they've got someone reading these forums while they still have time to tweak that design.
