Cut the springs. You have to look at the springs closely while they are loaded and pay attention to how the ends are constructed. I did this on my '8 Z33 in the rear and found out that there were about a couple coils on the free end (bottom) that can be altered. I measured and ended up cutting about 1/3 of a coil to achieve a 3/4" lowering.
