Default 2012 Nismo 370Z. Back to the world of Z.

Greeting everyone. I just purchased a 2012 Nismo 370Z this last Saturday. Mileage was right under 22,000. Paint and wheels were flawless. One owner and a clean carfax with all maintenance performed at a Nissan dealership. I'm really happy I was able to get this car for such a great price. They are pretty rare as well as the only other one in my area literally sold as I was inspecting it. That car was in way condition and I got my car for the same price.

I am coming from a 2019 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD, which was a fantastic car. It definitely was more comfortable and had more power throughout the entire powerband. But I felt more like I was just riding in the car when behind the wheel. The Z feels like you are truly driving and it is much more exciting to drive. I have had a 2003 350Z, 2005, 350Z, and a 2009 G37 Coupe so I plan on never selling this one.

My Z came installed with a Pedal Commander, K&N Typhoon Intakes, and Borla Type-S Exhaust. Luckily the one owner gave all the factory parts to the dealership so I plan on putting all the stock parts back on. I plan on deciding which parts to replace everything with later as I wouldn't have gone with any of those parts myself. Let me know if you are interested in any of these parts as I will be selling them very reasonably.

I am already planning on what I am going to modify on the car. First and most importantly is to add sound deadening throughout the entire cabin. I am going to start on the rear and if I finish that the doors. There is so much road noise coming into the cabin while driving, probably due to the wide *** tires. I feel this makes the car come off as cheaper and the 370Z deserves better. I also plan on changing out the old Nismo seats to the new Recaros offered in the 2015+ Nismo 370Z/Nismo Jukes. I like the fact it's OEM so we'll see if the universe sends me some at a decent price. I will say the suspension needs a little work as the low speed jitter is ridiculous and I am hoping I find the shipping spring perches still on. If not then I will change the springs to something with a smoother low speed behavior and softer spring rate.

I plan to in future to add the Z1 Motorsports intakes, upper, and lower ported plenums. Exhaust side, Z1 headers and test pipes. Not sure on which exhaust just yet but I was very partial to the sound of the Motordyne Shockwave Exhaust I had on my G37.

If you have suggestions on parts or basic things to change out let me know. Excited to be here and back in a proper sports car.
