I tried the softer spring for a few weeks, didn't feel like it made a big enough difference in feel. Ended up deleting the spring and the entire spring carrier assembly from the pedal. I also adjusted the little threaded clevis where it attaches to the clutch pedal. Much better than the factory setup IMO, although I do plan to get an RJM pedal eventually, this is good enough for now.
