You shouldn’t need any shims; as the Quaife units are pretty much plug & play,
That also goes for the Wavetrac unit
Unsure if you’re installing new bearings on the Quaife or having the ones removed from the open diff
Unsure if you have the A/T of M/T, as the traction devices are limited for the automatics .
