I agree. Trying to shoehorn 240Z aesthetics on a 370Z body just doesn't look right.

I would have preferred if Nissan went the route they went with the Murano refresh they did for 2019. The Murano has the same boomerang style head and tail lights like the 370Z.

2019 Murano refresh with LED headlights and LED light strips with refreshed fascia:



Imagine if Nissan did the same with the 370Z. New LED headlight housings with LED light strips as seen in the refreshed Murano and just a more aggressive bumper cover. Would have cost them less too, as it would require almost no retooling as fender and hood shapes would have remained the same.
