I thought so as well, but according to XM, the still operate as different businesses. You can get the XM Everything/Best of SIRIUS or SIRIUS Everything/Best of XM packages. It appears that the XM basic package does not contain the "Liquid Metal" channel but the SIRIUS one does.
Yea... I am an old metal head, so I would rather have the SIRIUS service than the XM.
