That hp figure is at the crank and again i assume u know this.
I'm not saying they didnt make any changes, but definitely not a 50hp bump for the 2020 model.
Maybe 10hp bump or something and making little changes here and there.

It doesn’t matter whether Toyota underrated or not. Back to back dyno testing of a 2020 and a 2021 verified the difference.

“After a few runs on the dyno, the 2021 engine put down 388 horsepower and 421 lb-ft at the wheels. Remove the driveline losses, and the engine appears to be capable of 400 horsepower at the crank.”
