Default Stillen HE foam tape?!

I bought a stillen kit off someone who was planning on going A2A but never installed it. There was an unfortunate set of circumstances and I bought it from their family. It was missing a bunch of A2A components they couldn’t find but all of the factory stillen stuff was there. So I was going to install the base kit with a frozenboost upgrade until I could afford a new A2A conversion and fuel system.

However the W2A heat exchanger that goes inside the manifold was there but already removed. I noticed it had some kind of foam tape between the manifold and the HE. Do I need to replace this tape to use the HE? If so does anyone have any clue what the heck the tape is? I just don’t want to throw something in there that’s going to fall off and go into the lower plenum and wreak havoc.
