Remember, the housing is not perfectly squared up- as the way it’s welded around it.
I used a large socket on one end, a through bolt as big as would fit & pulled them in place.
Be sure to do as Rusty says & clean hole good with flapper wheel or something, as they have a glue/epoxy residue on them
