1 thing about the ECB-1 ( and quite a few sensors) they tend to under-report on ethanol. I recently learned this after getting into the e85 portion of the flex-fuel tuning...
Buy an e85 vial tester. Accurate enough to show a discrepancy.
I vialed my tank fuel at about 82-83% ethanol, but the gauge showed 76.9%
I tried to change the values, but only succeeded in doing so on the PC interface ( not the gauge) on logworks 3 software provided from innovate.
If you are log tuning from e85 pump fuel, try and vial what going in, or more importantly, vial a sample from the tank. If the gauge under reports, you can at least gauge the under-reported values to estimate your current tank.
I did email innovate on this topic, and am waiting to hear back from them...
At the very least, lower is better than higher.
