During my base model akebono upgrade I stripped the threading on one of the calipers with the banjo bolt. Of course it was the last one so I already had the other three akebonos on. I left the other three sport calipers on, and reverted the front passenger wheel to the base caliper (which also included putting the smaller base-model rotor back on) and bled them. I expected to encounter some pulling to one side during braking, but I could not feel any difference. I worked up the nerve to do some pretty hard panic stops and didn't have any problems. I drove that way longer than I'll admit here.

All this to say that while it may not be ideal, you'll be fine.
