I think if you want to feed the homeless there should be an open season domestic cats. They are the scourge on small wildlife.

yikes! Pepper tries to help with the ferral cat population. I swear everytime we step out the door, first thing she does is scan the quad for cats and will only start walking if shes satisfied that there are none to be found.
