There were two famous case in HK where they found the dog to have traces of that virus. They might not have gotten it, but they had the virus in their body. After that case came out, there was an increase in abandon pets. In China, it got worse. Some places were slaughtering cats because they were afraid. If you can bear it, there are videos on the web showing how cats were tortured and destroyed. It's f-ing sad
