Did chickens go extinct?

I'm looking for a dozen eggs. On our drive. We stopped at 3 Walmarts, and 4 grocery stores looking for eggs. You couldn't even tell that they had eggs at all. All 3 Walmarts and 3 of the stores were pretty much wiped out on meat too. But the one store had a good selection of meat yet. Seeing more and more people wearing masks.
