If it's not a daily then definitely go with the test pipes. A resonated test pipe and a dual exhaust with 2 resonators in each path, plus some cheap sound deadening in the hatch is a good combination that is not droney.
Then you can get a tune with pop, bangs and fire!
BTW I had F.I RHFC's and the sound was very sexy. Once I get some headers they will go back on with the cat bashed out.
