Power bleeder is about the only thing that could be easier. Installed my speed bleeders yesterday and swapped my Blue back to Gold. I don't see how they could completely fail either, they act like a normal bleeder when closed, the check valve only comes into play when opened.

I don't use race brake fluid in my DD cars, it can't hold as much moisture in suspension which is why it needs to be bleed more often. Just use a good quality DOT 4 and the fluid will be good for 1-2 years.
