OKAY! PART 2!

Step one - source all new body panels!

Outcome = Profit! This was at another IA in NKY

This was probably the point where i loved the look of this car the most.

AND THEN DISASTER. (again)

Some dudes got in a fight outside of a party on my freshly painted car. They trashed the body work in 5 mins.

note the ****** fender too....

But i kept loving it! it was really a no f*cks given car.

And i painted the wheels again.

As you astute observers may have seen, there is another civic in the background.
At this time i blew up the sedan again (rod knock this time)
That car was the donor for the K swap.

The great thing was, the EP3 had already been k20a2 swapped. it had some really nice add ons too such as the 5 lug conversion, RBC manifold, and K PRO.

Honestly, i kind of wish i had kept this car instead of desecrating it to build the sedan, but so it goes. I got it for a steal (3k)

Further tear down of the hatch...

the day the swap started!!!

L O L

Engine out!

Cleaned the bay a bit while i was in there...
Can you see the difference?

Mounts

Fancy new shift cables.

proof of the hotness

The brain that makes all of this shenanigans work.

Motor is in!!

I love wiring (Sarcasm)

And its on the ground!!! (and runs!!!)

Yep. My younger self pulled this **** off.

First day driving it to work!

Obligatory pic of the daily. I miss this truck

Here it is all back together (including a hood now!)

New wheels again. what can i say? i'm a wheel whore... These were staggered this time.
16x7 in the rear and 16x8 up front. I needed some wheels pretty quick as i massacred one of the rsx wheels.

I bought some new suspension (again)

And Extended studs for the new 5 lug setup!

Fitment looking much better.

Did some more ricer sh*t here. I kinda liked it. plus it helped hide the ****** up hood.

And guess what! i got rear ended. A-f*cking-gin.

one last pic of this setup

I bought this bad boy for a grand total of $150. Yes, you read that correctly!
This was a great beater to tool around in.

Got a new end table...

New shoes. (i guess a new bumper and tail light since the last pic as well)

Didn't quite fit... this was just around the street.

Looked pretty good IMO

Here it is after i got the fitment corrected.

I actually put on the older body style rear bumper. I dunno why but i really liked that over the late model bumper.

Yellow headlights and an STI lip for maximum the lowness

New Springs and inverted tie rod ends to correct the steering angle.
I love my Z, but this thing is like driving a Go Cart. You just throw it into a corner and it goes the direction you have in your head.

New fitment. Finally got it back to where i liked it.

And then i bought the Z

This is where i'll end the story. I'm currently in the process of repairing all of the years of abuse on the civic. I've kind of lost interest in it so the Z gets all of the money and attention now. The Civic is still in my possession, but it doesn't drive. The idler pulley broke off and i'm waiting for time to install a pulley delete kit.
