On a happier note, I think I have settled on what to make Susan for our anniversary on Tuesday.
Starter: smoked salmon on crostinis topped with creme fraiche and caviar.
Soup: king crab and lobster bisque
Cleaner: cranberry and walnut arugula salad
Main course: leek and basic crab sakes atop citrus orzo and drizzled with a lemon dill sauce
Dessert: Susan's surprise to me.
