I have a 19 which is slightly smaller than the 17. Not my favorite pistol, prefer one of my H&Ks over it, but it has been very reliable, accurate, and I trust my life to it. Tons of mods and accessories out there for them. Glocks are like the Honda Civics of the gun world. They are nothing special but they are reliable, unless you mod them, and the fanboys can be annoying too.
