re Schrödinger's cat, it seems that J J Abrams is obsessed with the concept... shows up in Lost, Fringe, and even the new Star Trek... to me, it is a more rationale construct for how time works than the old sci-fi standby of linear time and time travel causing disruptions in space-time continua... anyways +1 for you guys being over the top analytical about the show - but I love it!
