Heres a Z35 article. According to the article, aside from the engine, only the front is changing and the interior. I'm guessing the chassis might not change? So they're doing what they shouldve done 4 yrs ago with the interior and 2 yrs ago with the engine?
I dunno. But with the current Nissan issues I think Nissan is about to fvck this up. The Q60 is not a good car. If its gonna be a short Q60 with a sentra interior. it's not gonna do well.

Keeping it manual will be good.
But to really get sales, put a DCT in it.
The Z chassis needs to be Nismo stiff on the base car and the Nismo needs to be camaro or ATS-v or alfa romeo stiff.
They definitely wont change the chassis. That's why they were using the q60 engine in a 2009 z body. Plus it doesnt make sense cost wise to use a new chassis for 1 car. Especially a low volume car.
Plus nissan isnt doing good financially.
And the automatic tranny is a let down too. I dont know why they are using that vs a tiptronic or dct.
But their dct is outdated
