When there's a new engine option (and new front end for sure), doesn't Nissan have to re-certified for both collision standards and emissions tests?

Seems like alot of work to do a "modified" Z34 chassis with the 3.0T and go through all the paperwork just for it to be a stopgap

but hey, if there are good parts for us to scrounge, go for it
