Moving the filter to the front won’t melt the filter. That was the whole reason behind the move. Hence why he also came out with the heat shield. Filter melting is a issue with this kit, just because yours didn’t or hasn’t melted doesn’t change the fact of the matter. You have any pictures to prove your statement throughout the six years? How many miles are you drivingbetween filter changes, your car a daily or hard parked.
