In the past several days I've had several people tell me not to bother with the ATI damper. The tolerances are extremely tight (too tight, frankly, I'm told) and can sometimes make it damn near impossible to install on the crank. It's just a damper; it's not really prone to failure. So why bother I guess is the thinking...

Anyone else seen or heard similar things on the ATI dampers?
