I don't want loud and drony. I know... any aftermarket CBE will give you more noise - it's the animal - BUT i hear stillen is a pretty good sound + not loud...

I'm just curious if it's even worth my money or if I should just go HFC + Muffler delete - (I know loud - but I want the performance)

Thank you! (I asked something similar to this in another thread) but I am really curious about the difference in performance gained. (I've been seeing like a 10hp gain over nismo - is that about right?)

-
also - if it is only a 10hp gain from Nismo exhaust and i'm not too concerned about sound - what if I just went this route (minus straight pipes I would go HFC) - https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...ge-p-7223.html

Addressing your last question first - the 400hp package from Z1 is nice, and it'll get you gains you can feel, but it'll also include Headers which will (trust me on this) get a LOT louder.

If you're trying to stay relatively quiet, the HKS/Stillen/and even Fast Intentions with stock cats will keep you fairly quiet, and paired with long tube intakes and a tune you'll see decent gains. Remove those cats, and expect a big dB boost.

I collected dyno results from a ton of cars and setups a while back, you may find that list helpful. Just keep in mind that no 2 dynos read quite the same, and things like STD vs SAE have a big impact on reported WHP. If you have questions on the data, let me know.
