I saw one video on youtube that I can't find presently, but here are some other links to bring you up to speed:

Current motor oil (I checked my Mobil 1 5w-30) is GF5 specification. This would be the subsequent. Apparently it is mostly to address turbocharged gasoline direct injection, and the GF6b spec is for those motors. There is also a GF6a specification that it says can replace: SAE 0W-20, SAE 5W-20, SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30. Of course Nissan recommends the 5W-30 for the 370z.
This will come on market in May of 2020.
If I'm reading the requirements right, this should a) provide for better gas mileage and b) lower engine wear which sounds like a win-win (price will probably be the drawback).
