Not having been in a Nismo it is not the first time I have hear complaints of them being harsh and in fact many have said aftermarket coil overs even with stiffer spring rates actually drive smoother than the Nismo’s so I’m guessing the shock valving on Nismo’s must have some excessive low speed damping (I think I read somewhere the rebound is about 400% firmer than a stock sport, so they’re most likely packing on city streets).

I have not used them but for a comfortable coilover I have heard the RSR are good. Personally I feel the powertrix are more comfortable overall than even the sport but I wouldn’t say they are a comfort focused coilover, although their owner also said many have commented on their comfort vs the Nismo which in his words from owners is bone jarring.
