Every automotive forum I frequent makes mention of how poor Nissan quality has been since they went all in on CVTs. I still own a couple Nissans...my manual Z, and a '17 Frontier with the 5 speed auto (which we bought because it's so much cheaper than a Tacoma). Frontiers haven't changed since 2005, so for those bitching about the produce cycle in the Z, the Frontier is 4 years worse than that.
The first gen Titans lasted 10 years longer than they should have as well. The big 3 updates their big pickups every 3-4 years now. Nissan and Toyota lag way behind that, and their sales show it.
Nissan lost me as a customer. Both the ones I have now I bought as 2 year old used vehicles. Then again, I think buying new is for chumps anyways. I try to let someone else take the big depreciation hit for driving a vehicle off the lot and I'll get them 2 years into it on a private party sale with no sales tax, doc fees, and all that other crap dealerships charge.

Agreed. My 370z ownership is why I'll never have another Nissan in the garage. "Chrysler of Japan" is what other forums call Nissan. Shame, because some of their vehicles would be awesome with a bit more quality or not a cvt, or whatever other thing
