Hi guys, finally got my steering lock fixed, been driving fine all this time, after a few phone calls to nissan uk they agreed to pay for the part but i had to pay for the labour, sure i could have haggled for it all for free but happy with the outcome, hopefully the new one should last for a good few years.
If your lock is faulty its worth just a few minutes of your time phoning up nissan and see if they can help
