Talking

Playing around with the Power Wagon and chasing down the noise. At first I thought it was the cam and lifters on cylinders #7 & #8 going bad. But now is seems to be coming from the A/C compressor. I've used my stethoscope to help pin point the noise. The noise is traveling through the motor at different rpms. So it shows up in different locations. Just above idle, the A/C compressor is the loudest. At idle, the noise is in back of the motor. I checked the charge on the A/C and it was low. So I added a can. Still have the noise, but I'm now thinking it's the A/c compressor for sure.

My hearing is not what it used to be.
